Nourish Kids is a FREE program for children ages 2 – 12 empowering children to make their own food choices at farmers markets.
Participating children can try a sample of locally grown produce and receive $5 to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, or food-producing plants. Kids build relationships with farmers, create positive associations with fruits and vegetables, develop budgeting skills, and begin to influence their local food economy.

Nourish Kids is offered at the following Knox County farmers markets:
- Market Square Farmers Market, 2nd Saturdays, May – October
- New Harvest Farmers Market, 3rd Thursdays, May – September
- Market Square Farmers Market – Winter, 2nd Saturdays, November – March
