Volunteer Recognition:

We are so very grateful for our volunteers and all of the work they do for our community! So, we came up with a plan to thank them for their time and hard work:

  • After 10 hours, volunteers receive 2 tickets to Friends and Farmers, are recognized in our annual Nourish Knoxville Food Guide, receive a Nourish Knoxville sticker, and are given presale access to all Nourish ticketed events.
  • After 30 hours, volunteers receive 2 tickets to a Nourish Knoxville special event and can pick out 1 piece of available NK merch valued at $25 or less.
  • After 100 hours, volunteers receive 2 tickets to our annual fundraising dinner, Winter Warmer.
  • After 300 hours, volunteers receive 2 tickets to exclusive special events.
  • After 600 hours, volunteers will receive a curated progressive exploration of the Knoxville farm-to-table scene for two!

What to bring when volunteering:

  • Water bottle: it can get hot during the spring and summer seasons so make sure to keep hydrated!
  • Sunscreen and/or sunglasses
  • Coat and gloves during the colder months
  • Comfortable footwear: all our shifts will require standing and walking for extended periods of time, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear!
  • An umbrella or a rain jacket: the markets are open rain or shine!
