Join the Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum for this watercolor workshop! Participants will learn basic practices for developing observational skills for painting plants and landscape vistas using watercolor and gouache. As with our landscape sketching course with charcoals, we will disperse amongst the gardens open spaces and practice sketching vistas using watercolor techniques that capture the essence of the moment through deliberate mark making with a brush.
