Straw bale gardening is a great way to grow food on limited space without disturbing the landscape. This is a popular gardening technique with folks who rent homes or who have limited mobility. Join Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum the morning of Saturday, March 25, to learn how to start a straw bale garden at your home.
John Tullock – a local garden guru, author, and authority on straw bale gardens – will lead the workshop. John is the author of 20 how-to books covering a range of topics from aquariums, to orchids, to growing food. A UT alumnus, he recently retired from years of self-employment as a marketing consultant specializing in sustainability issues.
