Nourish Knoxville does not currently book musical performances. Instead, musicians are welcome to perform or “busk” in one of our designated zones on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about busking, see below.
Family-friendly, acoustic musicians can perform or “busk” for tips during the Market in one of our designated busking zones, noted on the map below with a gray guitar icon. These busking zones are filled on a first come, first served basis and are only available during market hours:
Buskers/performers must check in at the information booth before performing in one of the designated zones. There is a 1-hour limit for performances (unless no other buskers are present).
*** Busking within the Market footprint is not permitted during setup and breakdown hours (1.5 hours before market and 1.5 hours after market). ***
No amplification is allowed and Nourish Knoxville reserves the right to dismiss any busker who is causing a nuisance, obstructing pedestrian and/or vehicle traffic, or has an excessively loud performance.
At no time may any performer/busker or non-Nourish Knoxville approved Vendor set up to perform or sell within the Market footprint or in the designated Vendor spaces.
Performers/buskers may not sell their recorded music in busking zones. They must instead apply to Become a Vendor.
*** Non-musical performances, including, but not limited to, magic shows, balloon art, face painting, and religious/social cause solicitation are NOT permitted within the market area. Distribution of materials (flyers, tracts, etc) within the market area is prohibited. ***
