Farmer Support
We know that economic success for local growers and producers requires connections to communities. Nourish Knoxville provides low-barrier market access and promotes local farms and food businesses, strengthening the local economy, land conservation and sustainability efforts, food diversity, and the preservation of local foodways.
Food Access
We believe everyone has a right to nutritious, local food. Nourish Knoxville increases access to healthy food choices across demographics, decreasing hunger, improving community health, supporting agency and autonomy in food choice, and expanding access to food.
Education
We recognize that information, exposure, and human connection are critical to sustaining local food systems over generations. Nourish Knoxville helps build knowledge and understanding of food and farming, which sparks curiosity, builds trust in East Tennessee food systems, and cultivates future growers, producers, and shoppers.
